The founder says his fitness app pays users to exercise, but what they really want is a body transformation

yEsper Sanders founded Deposit The Work to motivate users to stick to their fitness goals, he said, but now he’s stressing accountability with the app’s latest feature.

“The whole idea behind CoachConnect+ is to provide a platform for individuals stuck on their fitness journey, not sure where to start, [or] Sanders, founder of job deposit – A lifestyle app with healthy recipes curated by a dietitian, exercise programs designed by Sanders and a fitness apparel store.

Sanders explained that CoachConnect+ pairs users with a personal trainer that can track users’ daily workouts and overall progress. Users fill out a questionnaire about their current fitness style and goals to be then paired with a trainer. He added that they could request a different coach based on their preference.

“We all have different approaches — from gymnastics to bodybuilding to performance to functional fitness,” he said. “…People love it. I have grown, in terms of numbers, about seven times a month.”

Sanders said Deposit The Work has about 2,000 installs — pointing to a minor launch of CoachConnect+ in August.

When Sanders first launched Deposit The Work in January 2021, the focus of the app was on users to earn money while burning calories to keep them motivated. But after collecting user feedback, Sanders found that money wasn’t the main motivator, he recalls.

What energizes users: Achieving long-term health and fitness goals.

“You can still make your money [on the app]but the exercise portion is more tailored to be an actual fitness tool,” Sanders said. “It is now put in place so that coaches set up their program for the client, so they know exactly what to do.”

Sanders, a former college football player who was a personal coach in Kansas City, Kansas, said working face-to-face with a coach increases an individual’s chances of achieving their goals and reduces the likelihood of quitting to about 5 percent. the past eight years.

“Even if someone doesn’t want to enter [for a workout]They’ll come because I’m there, and they’ve got a time slot,” he said.

Jasper Sanders, goodbye

CoachConnect+ offers individuals more flexibility, Sanders said, because they are able to exercise on their own time, not the coach — adding that they can still reach out to the coach for any support needed.

The trainers, who act as contractors with Deposit The Work, assign custom workouts for the user to follow each day and can see if they’ve been completed. If not, they can contact the user through the app to check in.

“If you don’t exercise that day, [the coach] He can see that to make sure you’re on the right track.” “That’s the most important thing – there is more accountability.”

Sanders said Deposit The Work and its CoachConnet+ feature are for users of all fitness levels and styles from walkers to weightlifters. He currently has five trainers on the app, including himself, but plans to add more.

Users pay a monthly subscription fee for what is essentially a virtual gym membership, Sanders continued, noting that the app comes with a free seven-day trial. Through the app, users can sign up for exercise programs, track general activity, calculate calories, access nutrition tips, healthy recipes, and earn money. If users want to work with a coach, they will pay an additional monthly fee.

“The [Deposit The Work] The fitness app is a tool for user fitness success,” Sanders said. “The idea behind the app is to prepare users with the right infrastructure to allow quick and easy body transformations. …some people are skeptical about apps because they aren’t personal, but the thing about this app is that I see everything you do – your steps, your calories burned. If you’re looking for real results, analytics is how you get there at the end of the day. “
